What is a selfie and why do we do it?

A slefie is when someone takes a picture of themselves, its pretty self explanatory.  People take them all the time and post them on to social media.  Sometimes they take them to mark an important event or just for fun. 

A selfie is a photograph taken of yourself using a smartphone which usually is posted on social media for others to see.

A selfie is when an individual takes a photo of themselves. We take them because we want to get the best view of ourselves and the easiest way to do so is to take the photo for yourself. 

A selfie is a photo of ones self that they take and psot online for validation. Personally, I think it's a really stupid thing to do. Posting pics of your face online for strangers validation or approval that you look "lit" or "fire af." The people that do these types of pictures like to get attention and get complients for their ability to use a filter on Snapchat and post that picture everywhere they possibly can. But to each their own I suppose

For my selfie project I made a collage with pictures of my friends, family, music I listen to, and stuff I like to do. I feel like this represents me because I put all the things that are important to me and what I do on the daily.
