Teach Something

Goal:

You will choose a topic or task and teach the class either through video or in person on that topic or task.

Objectives:

  • Record, edit and publish a screencast designed to teach a technical skill
  • Analyze common models of instructional design
  • Reflect and share thoughts on what makes good teaching

Technology Fluency Objectives

  • use electronic tools to navigate, to compare or contrast, to research and to know enough to evaluate the technology as a tool
  • Insert audio and video files into web pages.
  • Complete an electronic enabled presentation

Write

Explain what you are going to teach and how you will teach the lesson.

In another post define good teaching and describe what you think goes into a good lesson

Participate

Complete a a padlet describing better teachers and what faculty at Southern Connecticut State Universaity need to do to teach better
