Here is the post to my website. It's not perfect, I had some difficulties in a lot of areas but I did it the best I could. I hope you all can forgive the mess but I'm still proud of what I was able to do as before I wouldn't have a clue where to start.

(Final?) Blog Post

With class nearing its end, I wanna say it's been a great class. Shame we didn't get to spend more time in class because of the outbreak. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the classroom. That and the confusion of doing a lot of work from home on some projects where I didn't know what I was doing was stressful, but here we are. My only question at the end is how we'll be graded and If I did a good enough job. I remember we were supposed to meet with our professor in person to discuss what grades we deserve for our midterm, but then the outbreak happened and some of us never got the chance. So with that,  I'm just gonna say that during the first few months I feel like my work as at best A- or B+ material. I always tried my best to stay on track and make sure I knew exactly what I needed to do to accomplish my goals. And for the final, well I don't know if my input matters in this regard given the circumstances, but I would say personally my work due to the outbreak has degraded to a B-. Despite my best efforts, I cannot help but feel my work is not what it could be given the stay at home order and I had to figure a lot of things out for myself. But in all that, I do not regret taking this class at all, outbreak or not. It was fun, the professor was kind, respectful, and most importantly: Patient. I truly admire this quality in people, more so in teachers. He always made sure to get to everyone's question and didn't blow a gasket if someone repeated a question already asked, he simply just answered it again so for that he has my undying respect. I wish there were more professors like him that realize new students are rookies to the subject and don't have the same level of understanding as he does.

Great class, greater professor, I just wish the outbreak happened later/never just so I could've gotten the true EDU106 experience.

This may be my last blog post so with that, thank you all for coming along with me on this journey and I hope our paths cross once more.

This is Chris, signing off.

You ever just have so much time to yourself that you begin thinking about really stupid stuff. I mean like the REALLY stupid stuff you normally wouldn't think about unless prompted? I'm talking about Flat Earthers, Anti-Vaccine people, and the people claiming 5G towers caused Corona and that the lockdown should end even though the virus is still claiming lives. It made me wonder, how can people be such idiots when they have the Internet in their pockets? But from my thinking, I came to the conclusion that it isn't about facts and logic to them, but what they want to believe. They want to believe the Earth is flat, or vaccines cause autism or the towers are making us sick. I didn't really think of this before until I related it to one of my absurd beliefs that I used to believe in when I was still in high school. That everything I want to happen will happen if I think about it and feel sad enough. I know right? Pretty stupid. But I guess what I'm trying to say is that these people aren't complete idiots, it's just that their beliefs and expectations matter a lot more to them than the truth, hoping that they'll find their own truth. I'm not sure if I should call it admirable or foolish, but I can't call them hopeless after all, that's the basis of all our beliefs.

Teaching

I haven't fully decided where I'll put my lessons. Either I'll make a Tumblir or find out how to do something on my Gltich page. However, I have decided that I will teach 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons for anyone interested. I will briefly explain what the game is about, how you play, mechanics, and other topics I deem worthy to speak of. I will NOT talk about everything, that would be far too long. I will only go over what is necessary to get into the game. Once I've chosen my method of delivering my knowledge, I shall make another blog post telling you where you can find it with a provided link.
