I think connected learning is really interesting and should be taught to a lot more kids nowadays. I never knew about connected learning until I started to take this class. Reading about the example they give for connected learning with the student Abigail, it can provide opportunities and instill confidence in others. It is great to have support and a community to back you up in things you are interested in. If you're gonna let your children go on the internet make sure they are using it for good and not bad, making sure it benefits themselves. In the long run she gained confidence and was able to start thinking about her future career. We all learn differently and I think it is important to take someone’s strength and play off them so you can set them up to succeed instead of setting them up to fail. I know from experience that I am a visual and hands on learner. So even up to now in college I have to adjust to learning in different environments. I learned with the help of my family to teach myself in ways. Everyone wants to learn when they are interested in it, if you're not interested in it you will have a harder time learning, that’s when you start to not want to even do the work. If you feel comfortable with the person who is teaching you and you feel comfortable in the environment you are being taught in you are gonna be more likely to succeed, I agree with that one hundred percent.
